In 1976, Mindt Construction was founded. At the time, we started on the mission of providing quality craftsmanship on any project that we worked on. As time has travelled along, we have seen a lot of situations arise in the construction industry. We have seen homes built in a hurry yet lacking quality – but, because these homes have a granite countertop and a stainless steel fridge its a modern home that everyone loves. Our desire to provide quality craftsmanship goes way beyond stainless steel fridges and granite countertops. We think your home should be built in Mindt Condition.

We Love Building Homes

At Mindt Construction we love building quality homes for our customers. Though it seems like it has become a cliche, we can and will work on the biggest and smallest project. While we are known for building custom, we do our best to work with any budget. For awhile we were traveling the entire Midwest putting together Hardee’s restaurants, one restaurant a month. While beautiful homes are impressive and welcoming and getting commercial buildings put together is a great feat , but we also are known for making the house call where we just caulk the front door. When we say we work on both large and small projects, we mean it.

Our Process

Believe it or not, we have a relatively simple process that is completely centered around our clients. We want you involved in the process as much as you possibly can be. You matter…not just during the process, but in the years after as well!

Step 1 - It all starts with a dream...

We find that most of our projects start with our clients having some type of dream. Whether they are looking for the perfect remodel that is going to help make their home that much more comfy, or need to get those perfect custom closet/cabinets, or they might just need the home of their dreams – whatever they are looking for it starts with a dream…or an idea. This is a fun part of the process as we develop the idea into a plan and the proposal process.

Step 2 - We make plans and build proposals...

As we work on putting your idea paper we come up with some actual plans for the process. It is based off of these plans that we will be able to provide cost estimates and more for your project. We work to provide the highest quality that we can while getting work done in the estimated project timeline.

Step 3 - We get to work...

Once we have the plans in place and the cost estimate in place, we get to work for you. You have the opportunity to be involved as much or as little as you would like to be during this part of the process. We will construct the home according to plan. You will have opportunities for change orders, but there may be additional charges that will have to be accounted for. This is one of the most exciting parts of the process as your dreams and ideas begin to become reality!

Step 4 - The End...

This is the best part of the process as the work is finally completed. While the work of the specific project may have been completed, we don’t fade into the shadows to never be heard of again. We stand behind our work…years after completion.
